This Web page will lead to some photographs of Burgess Hill U3A activities. There will be pages of small low-resolution photographs. Clicking on a small photo will bring up a larger medium-resolution version of the photo. It is intended that there will be no full-resolution photographs on the Web site, as a 5 megapixel digital camera creates a photograph file which occupies more than 1 megabyte. Such a file is good for preparing large photographic prints, but is overkill for everyday work.
Note: Viewing photographs may prove inconvenient to those with a slow Internet connection or a small screen. All other parts of the Web site have been prepared in a way which keeps down file sizes and allows the size of the viewing window to be changed.
